Avia WatchesAvia Watches were a very traditional British watch brand.  The brand traditionally inhabited the 50+ market through high street jewellers and had no online presence.  The brief was to build a new site, engage younger customers, retain the loyalty of older customers photograph and display the watches professionally and make the site easy to update and search where to buy:

Development:

  • We delivered a ‘retro’ style design, to engage a younger, fashion aware audience
  • The design used ‘kitch’ sixties & seventies fashion styles which older audiences would also find familiar in an ‘authentic eccentric’ feel yet quintessentially British
  • We provided product photography
  • and functions on the site so that Fossil could quickly & easily update the site and watch ranges

Results:

  • very low ‘bounce rate’ of 11%,
  • month on month traffic increase of 15%,
  • 18 page views per visit
  • Over 4.30s on site for each visitor
  • 76% traffic from SEO
  • large rise in queries about the brand
